Jonah 4

In this final message in the Jonah series, we walk through Jonah 4 and watch a prophet who resents the very grace God pours out on his enemies. Instead of rejoicing over a city-wide revival, Jonah is more upset about a withered plant than 120,000 souls who “don’t know their right hand from their left.” Through powerful modern stories of costly forgiveness, we confront our own “Jonah anger,” resentment, and desire for justice on our terms. This sermon invites us to hand our pain to God, let his Word not just inform us but transform us, and ask: What will we do when God shows grace to people we never would?
